Egyptian Ambassador to Sweden and Latvia, Naglaa Naguib, underscored the importance of supporting young talent and enabling them to leverage international expertise during a meeting with a delegation of Egyptian entrepreneurs who won an artificial intelligence competition at the Egyptian Embassy in Stockholm.
The Ambassador stated that this support aligns with Egypt’s efforts to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy and to strengthen the role of Egyptian startups in the AI sector, one of the most critical fields of the future. The delegation included Khaled Salama, representative of Techne, a leading platform supporting the startup ecosystem; Engineer Ahmed Farid Youssef, Founder of AI SCADA, a company specializing in industrial automation and artificial intelligence; and Dr. Mostafa El-Awamy, Founder of Cluster, a platform that digitizes pharmaceutical supply chains using AI.
For their part, delegation members praised the Egyptian government and the Embassy’s role in opening avenues for cooperation with Swedish institutions and companies, which will enhance opportunities for international expansion with Swedish companies and institutions.
