President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm congratulations to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the people of Egypt on the occasion of Egypt’s National Day.
In a statement issued on 23 July 2026, President Zardari said that Pakistan and Egypt enjoy close and cordial relations rooted in shared values, mutual trust, and long-standing bonds of friendship.
He noted that the two countries have maintained a tradition of cooperation and understanding, both bilaterally and in multilateral forums, and continue to work closely on issues of common interest.
“The growing cooperation between the two nations across diverse fields including trade, investment, education, culture, defence and people-to-people exchanges is very encouraging,” the President said.
President Zardari affirmed that Pakistan highly values its relations with Egypt and remains committed to further strengthening the partnership for the mutual benefit of the peoples of both countries.
He also appreciated the active coordination between the leaderships of both countries in efforts to resolve the recent regional conflict.
The President expressed confidence that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt will continue to deepen in the years ahead, contributing to regional harmony, sustainable development, and greater economic opportunity.
