Belgium and the United Arab Emirates have opened a new chapter in economic cooperation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce.

The MoU was signed at the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Brussels during the UAE-Belgium Business Reception and MoU Signing Ceremony, hosted by Mohamed Al Sahlawi, Ambassador of the UAE to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union.

The agreement aims to strengthen direct business-to-business linkages, unlock new investment opportunities, and establish additional channels for bilateral economic and trade collaboration. The ceremony underscored Brussels’ strategic position as a gateway for international economic actors to Belgium and the broader European market.
