The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Bucharest hosted a diplomatic reception marking Victory Day and the 104th anniversary of the Great Offensive of 1922. The event brought together senior Romanian military representatives, officials, parliamentarians, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Bucharest, business representatives and members of the Turkish and Tatar communities. Turkish Stars pilots also attended while in Romania for BIAS 2026. The reception highlighted the historical depth and contemporary strategic importance of Romania–Türkiye relations, particularly in defence, Black Sea security, economic cooperation and regional connectivity.
