In an artistic performance that added warm Ramadan ambiance and took the audience on a rich musical journey blending tradition and innovation, the Tunisian Embassy in Cairo organized a special Ramadan evening at the Small Theater of the Egyptian Opera House. the concert was part of the “Ramadan Evenings” events hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, under the patronage of Dr. Gehan Zaki, Minister of Culture.

The event was attended by Dr. Doha Al-Showeikh, Chargé d’Affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Cairo, alongside a number of cultural, artistic, and media figures from Egypt and Tunisia.

Dr. Doha Al-Showeikh stated that the evening aimed to strengthen cultural and artistic cooperation between Egypt and Tunisia and highlight the richness of Arab musical heritage. The event featured the Salon of Arabic Music ensemble from Kairouan, led by conductor Sufian Al-Amari.

Al-Showeikh added that the ensemble presented a diverse musical program blending authentic Tunisian heritage and Arab classical music, reflecting the depth of cultural and artistic ties between Egypt and Tunisia. The Tunisian artist Dorra Jelidi delighted the audience with her sweet voice, performing a number of classic Tunisian songs. Al-Showeikh praised the important role of arts and music in enhancing rapprochement and understanding among Arab peoples.
