Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi officially opened MIHAS 2026 and the Global Halal Summit in Kuala Lumpur, announcing $1.2 billion in actual and potential sales within the first two days. The event brings together 1,700 exhibitors and 450 buyers from 58 countries, while Malaysia is advancing new initiatives for halal cooperation with Indonesia, ASEAN and OIC member states.
