Atlas News Romania opens its first foreign bureau next week in Cairo, hosting Atlas News Middle East — the new newsroom dedicated to covering the Middle East and North Africa. The position of editor-in-chief has been assumed by Amr Yehia, a journalist with more than 33 years of experience in the international press and a steady byline in Al-Ahram. Materials will be published in Romanian, English, and Arabic. The director of the Cairo bureau will be announced separately. Accreditation applications have been filed with the competent authorities, and the opening of the Cairo bureau marks the first step in the publication’s international expansion strategy.
