Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned Iranian attacks on Arab states during the 165th session of the Arab League Council at ministerial level, calling for a unified Arab position and a stronger international response. The session also approved Egypt’s nomination of former Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy to become the next Secretary-General of the Arab League effective July 1, 2026.
